Jonathan Y. Thomas - Partner
Mr. Thomas is a founding Partner of Saybrook and currently serves as Chairman of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the state stem cell agency created by Proposition 71. Prior to that, he was responsible for Fund marketing and a senior member of Saybrook Restructuring Advisors, where among other things he developed and implemented strategy for the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors' dealings with the California Governor's office and state legislature in the Pacific Gas and Electric bankruptcy. He also structured the financing for the Kodak Theater in Hollywood that houses the Academy Awards and co-senior managed a $1.25 billion general obligation bond program for the Los Angeles Community College District. From 1994-2001, Mr. Thomas served as a member (Vice President the last two years) of the City of Los Angeles Harbor Commission, the five member board responsible for running the Port of Los Angeles, and as a member of the Governing Board for the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority ("ACTA"). While on the ACTA Board, he oversaw the $2.4b financing for the 20 mile rail corridor project connecting the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to the dispatching yards south of downtown Los Angeles, then one of the largest public infrastructure projects in the country. Mr. Thomas graduated from Oxford University, where he earned his DPhil (PhD). in Commonwealth History (medical history focus), as well as from Yale University (B.A., summa cum laude) and Yale Law School (J.D.).
Barbara Luzzatto - Executive VP, Chief Financial and Compliance Officer
Ms. Luzzatto has over 25 years experience in corporate and public finance, management, operations, accounting, tax, strategic planning, and new business development. In her position at Saybrook, she provides management and leadership in the accounting, business planning, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and administration of the Company. Prior to joining Saybrook, Ms. Luzzatto was the Chief Financial Officer of American Botanical Pharmacy where her responsibilities included directing the activities of the accounting department to support timely, accurate accounting data and reports, management of commercial banking relationships and compliance covenants, direction of all risk management activity, and implementing systems and protocols to support the financial wellbeing of the Company. Ms. Luzzatto is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Xavier Corzo, CFA, Vice President – Fund Operations
Mr. Corzo's responsibilities span all aspects of fund operations and investor reporting for the Municipal and Corporate Opportunity Funds. Mr. Corzo's duties include overseeing the preparation and timely delivery of required reports to investors, calculation and tracking of capital calls and distributions, and the maintenance of current fund account balances, position reports, and investment & fund return models. He joined Saybrook Capital in 1999 and prior to that, worked as an equities analyst in Moscow with Alfa Bank, one of the three leading Russian investment banks. While at Alfa, he was also focused on the marketing initiatives of the bank's international clients. Prior to working for Alfa Bank, he worked as a project engineer with Dinwiddie Construction, where he acquired a firsthand view of complex real-estate construction undertakings, which included the Getty Center in Los Angeles. After having studied in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and Berlin, Germany, Mr. Corzo received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Xavier is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Erica Cummings - Director of Investor Relations
Ms. Cummings handles all external communications and investor contact. Prior to joining Saybrook, Ms. Cummings managed retail and correspondent marketing for Wedbush Morgan Securities. Erica has her NASD Series 7, and 66 licenses, and started out in financial services as an advisor for Morgan Stanley. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree from California State University Fullerton and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
